Long term side effects of risperidone

My mother is on 3 mg risperidone for 6 months. I can already see some side effects like muscle stiffness, tiredness, slow walking etc. Doctor has added Amilsulpride and ecitane to help with these symptoms. I feel risperidone is bad in long term. Should I ask doctor to get away from risperidone and use a light antipsychotic like Amilsulpride and supplements like omega 3 and multivitamins
