List of Replies

I have tried to look round for this type of situation for a bit now but I cannot find anything so hopefully this is not a dupe.

Basically, I have an automation set up where if a specific person texts me, it gives them an automatic, random reply from a list in the shortcut. Currently I have a list of about 20 or so replies. I would very much like for there to be more than 100.

Is there a better way to do it than a list then getting a random item (which is then sent as a message)? Is there any way I can at least make the automation on my Mac? My phone is very slow when typing in a list in shortcuts for some reason so at least typing would make it better.

This is a personal project of mine, so if anyone has any suggestions, please do suggest some. I will definitely be getting deeper into conditionals of the received text message -- i.e. replies for specific phrases using if's -- but that's for later.
