Quests disappeared from quest log!

Skyrim Special Edition here. I had been holding off on doing the civil war, dawnguard, diplomatic immunity and dragonborn quest lines until I had finished companions, thieves guild and dark brotherhood quest lines, but now they have disappeared from my quest log? Do quests time out or do they just glitch out?
