Any mods to make the game easier?

I'm super interested in the RPG side of Skyrim, but I'm not very good at the combat side, even on novice difficulty. I just want a cozy gaming experience and I keep getting destroyed by vampires outside my house. Is there anything that kneecaps the enemies just a little more?
