200>??? A Small Account's Fate
Started yesterday with a legged in and spread out 0dte XSP 561P/560P debit spread, cost -0.90 sold to close at 0.36/share. One good play deserved another but I didn't quite get it.
Decided the s&p might flip upward into Tuesday's close and busted out 2.10 a share for another 0dte play, the XSP 562C. Would have been awesome if it was 1dte but alas it ranged very tightly just below and right on 562 into close and I sold that same call off for a shameful 0.45 a share about 35 minutes before the eod bell. Hate wasted day trades. >.<
Still I felt like the close was bullish and fomc was about 60-70% likely to be dovish/bullish. So I went in just before the eod bell and picked up the XSP 3/21/25 576C with $69 of the $71 I had remaining. Today was generous and I was able to leg into selling the 3/21 577C at 0.70 a share to take my initial risk off and keep the debit spread open (currently at 0.15).
Now I had $72 buying power and decided to use $65 of that near eod today to pick up NVDA 3/21 121C during it's dip back down from 120 to 117ish. So that's looking ok rn.
I'm hoping to track this on Reddit to instigate some accountability in my live trading. FYI and for transparency I'll also be sharing this on my Threads (mostly paper) trading journal.
Enjoy my fortune and/or folly everyone!
