Question about shortcuts

I just switched over to SM6 from Nova. Nova allows you to make a shortcut using browser links and I'm trying to find if it's possible on SM but can't find anything. I want to use a icon gesture to open a web page like I did with Nova. An I missing it or is it not possible? Thanks.
