SSBU Move Tier List #6: Up Smash (Results)

Good morning, fellow Smash Redditors! Sorry for this late submission, but after facing a few difficulties on the technical side, the results for the up smash tier list are finally in!

Time for notes I've observed!

  • Once again, only two S tiers.
  • No E or F tiers (though Hero came close)!
  • Far more C tiers than the other lists so far.

My Thoughts

  • I honestly think Fox is too high. I agree with A tier, but not that high.
  • Inversely, Kirby is a little too low.
  • Diddy seems oddly high. I'm pretty sure his up smash isn't that great if it's not too different from its Sm4sh counterpart.
  • I thought Falcon's was supposedly really good because of its safety, but I guess many thought otherwise.

The spreadsheet is also used to calculate the variance and standard deviation of each mean. Here's what I found:

  • No E or F tiers!
  • Abnormally high number of D tiers.
  • Fox ended up in the exact same spot on all tier lists (as did G&W and Hero).
  • Ice Climbers and Bowser Jr. had the lowest SD and variance at exactly 0 (their scores were exactly the same).
  • Lucario had the highest SD and variance (0.540 and 0.292 respectively).
