Why are there more bots than actual people?

So, Although I haven't posted much (I've only posted about 3 albums and a couple of singles) It seems to me that there are a lot more bots on this website than actual people. I've been getting constant messages from bots saying things like "I Love your music! Tell me how you make it!" and although these are nice things, It's like all my messages are filled with bots. They say the same thing, and they all repost songs, and yet again, although these are nice things, The reposts don't even do anything. They don't "push the songs out further", they still stay at the few plays and 1 or 2 likes. My only two "fans" are friends of mine, and it doesn't seem like anyone except my friends actually enjoy my music. Why the hell are there so many bots??
