What happened to Damitha Chandrasiri (Koombiyo script writer)

I recently watched Koombiyo for the first time and it's undoubtedly one of the best tele dramas in Sri Lanka (probably the best). I found out that one of the script writers dissappeared in 2018. What do yall think happened to him?
