Replacement for Gaggia Babila but don't care for milk drinks

My wife and I have enjoyed our refurbished Gaggia Babila we got in June 2019 for $1400, but it got an e03 error, we took it to our local repair shop and after they "fixed the error", it's just not working like it used to (isn't rinsing properly, coffee grounds come out the side).

According to the machine stats we've brewed 3,234 coffees, making the cost basically $0.50 a cup (not including beans).

We'd love your suggestions on a replacement machine if we mostly use it as a super automatic coffee machine, don't care for milk drinks (I see lots of posts where people want milk drinks)!

Budget doesn't really matter but it does matter how many years the machine will last. Are we better off getting a $500 machine that we replace every few years or get another $1400 that will last 6+ years?
