Possible to transfer The Division 1 game files and saves from Steam (demo) to Epic?

I played The Division 1 demo on Steam and want to buy the full game on EGS (it’s on sale). Can I transfer the demo files to EGS to avoid re-downloading? Will my save files carry over, or do I start fresh?
