Enemy NPC death latency in Div1

Is it normal, that enemy NPCs die with cca 0.5 sec latency? I know the game is somewhat server based, similar to Diablo 3 and 4, but it feels rather bad here. Even those headshot sound effects are completely off. I hear it 1 whole second after i click headshot. Also hits are registering with same latency.
Is it normal and is there something, that can be done in order of making the game feel more responsive?
