Many factions now have their more powerful and interesting units at Tier 3 now. Isnt this a good thing? Many people complain here about it.

If the AI is also taking these powerful units at tier 3 then we should have more interesting armies to fight against surely? What is the problem here?

Edit: Comments have explained the AI is far too passive and rarely expands, so while we snowball, nobody else does. So late game gets boring rather than competitive.
