How would you personify gender dysphoria?

Hi all! I'm a film student and I want to create a short horror movie based around the idea of gender dysphoria. I want to personify this. So, how would you, regardless of gender expression, personify gender dysphoria? As an object? As a version of yourself? Please, I'd love to hear everything however simple or sophisticated!
