How do NHS Smoke free sites affect MC patients?

I am at the Hospital right now and there are signs which blanket ban smoking and vaping. The signs say the hospital is "Proud to be a smoke free site" and have helplines to help people quit.

My concern is where would I medicate if I have to become an inpatient for any reason? I am aware it is quite a trek to get off site to be able to vape. I also wouldn't want to be bothering other people with my medication smell as they are ill. Does anyone else have an experience with this at all? Is there anything I need to put in place to make sure if I am an inpatient I will be able to medicate effectively?
