Dell U4025QW vs MSI PG39WCDM (80% Productivity, 20% Gaming)
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a new ultrawide monitor and torn between the Dell U4025QW and MSI PG39WCDM. My use case is 80% productivity (coding, Slack, photo editing) and 20% gaming (1-2 hours a few days a week).
I want something that’s truly great, since I spend so much time in front of it.
My concerns:
OLED (MSI PG39WCDM): I know OLED has improved, but pixel clarity still worries me. Is it an issue for text-heavy work?
IPS (Dell U4025QW): It’s quite expensive for an IPS panel and has a 5ms response time. Is that a problem for casual gaming?
Which one would you pick? Or is there a better alternative I should consider? I want USB C, I want 38/39 inch, i want some curve.
