Stuck on plane with no air

Well the title says it all. My family and I were stuck on a United flight earlier this week in Florida. The plane could not start the engines and needed a portable starter. Without going into everything we sat on the plane for 2 hours with limited air. The inside had to be at least 90 degrees. They would not let us deplane. The pilots were great and the attendants were outstanding but I’m not happy with not being allowed to get off. Especially with that heat.

Is it worth complaining to them directly or am I wasting my time?

Update: well I wanted to share that United sent me 2500 miles for me and each one of my family members for a total of 10000. While not great it’s something. Thanks for everyone who responded.
