Wicked reminds me of how people hate vegans

I know the movie/musical/story is an allegory that can be widely applied to soooooo many different things but…

For me I keep thinking of how meat-eaters think vegans are all arrogant, self-righteous, intolerant people, even though all vegans have ever wanted is to reduce suffering. They think we are “wicked” for questioning the status quo, for questioning something about society that they have chosen to not question. It feels sometimes like they think they can stifle us with enough hate to just make us give up and realize that our mission is pointless.

Not to mention, the movie explicitly deals with speciesism, depicting putting animals in cages as an atrocity. Is everyone just going to ignore this?? I was like FINALLYYYY someone is questioning animal cruelty on the big screen!!
