Why is liking good graphics a hot take?
And get downvoted to oblivion for saying that good graphics can affect my enjoyment of a game.
This seems to be true in general, but the game in question is final fantasy 7. I played the remakes but not the original, and said I may not want to play the original because of the graphics. People then proceeded to say that graphics mean absolutely nothing as long as the story is good. Like dude what are you talking about?? They obviously matter??
I’m not saying good graphics instantly make a game good, but I can’t be the only one who is put off by very bad graphics and think that it matters how well a game is visually presented?
Edit: I’m tired of literally every reply misunderstanding this, so here you go: Story>gameplay>graphics I don’t think a game needs good graphics, and it’s not the most important thing, I just don’t get how some people say they don’t matter at all.
