How did we get here?
What are the most questionable moves (or lack thereof) since Durant left that's put the Warriors in the position they're in today (aging/expensive roster with minimal talent to pair with Curry)? How did we get here?
Oubre deal? Did this trade have a large effect on us negatively? Was there anyone else to get?
Wiseman Draft Pick. I typically dislike the whole "well you could've selected xyz at #2" conversation because the draft is such a crapshoot, but this in particular was such a bad pick in hindsight. We'd be in a better spot with Halliburton, Maxey, Ball, Bane, and just about anyone else.
2021 Draft: I love Kuminga, but wouldn't Franz Wagner (taken a pick later) be a better fit? I also love Moses Moody, but Sengun was taken 2 picks later. I know this is easy to see in hindsight, but for conversation...
Draymond // Poole fight. Draymond gets massive extension, Poole gets shipped off (would we want Poole over Draymond today?). Dray is crucial to this team but that contract looks brutal right about now.
Wiggins Extension: It's not a terrible deal at ~$30m/per year. Top tier guys are getting $35-60m/year. But, was there anyone out there we could've spent this on instead?
CP3 and Klay expiring contracts last season. Couldn't the Warriors have dealt these two expiring deals for someone valuable?
It's been widely reported we had offers to get Lauri Markannen for players and picks. Personally, seems pretty rich for a 2nd tier player (he's not a star). Would he have moved the needle on this roster?
I've also seen reports the Warriors turned down Wiggins for Zach Lavine. Similar to Lauri, does Lavine make this team much better?
What am I missing? And....Go Warriors.
