Steph Curry, MVP Candidate?

Steph Curry might need to be added to the MVP conversation. 12 amazing games so far and 20 games left.

Steph has been a madman since the Jimmy Butler trade (9-2). I can't believe people called this man washed because he was getting doubled and tripled all night before Jimmy. Fools!

Look at these numbers: 125.4 OffRtg (4th) & 18.4 NetRtg (1st!) [mins≥25 & usg≥25%]

29.4ppg (2nd... Trailing Shai by 3.8) on 51/43/89 splits and 68.5 TS% (2nd... Trailing Jokic by 0.3).

The Warriors are the 6th seed and climbing. They could end up as high as 4th in the West. That's well-within the margin to be MVP eligible.

Steph is only behind Jokic and Shai on offense (per DunksAndThrees). He's 7th in overall impact and 5th in expected wins.

No other player in the Top 10 in overall impact or expected wins is over 30 years old (per DunksAndThrees). Steph turns 37 in days.

If Bron is getting MVP buzz almost every day on ESPN and elsewhere, then Steph surely should. He's way ahead of Bron this season. It's honestly not even close -- from RAPM to DPM to EPM (the best analytic around), to point differential, pts/100 possessions, expected wins, and NetRtg (per Cleaning the Glass & NBA.com).
