bleeding on day 8 after sneezing and smoking
I got all 4 wisdom teeth out last Thursday. I haven’t had much pain at all, and have been able to eat good solid foods the past 2-3 days so I felt like I was good to go back to normal. My allergies have been super bad the past few days though and I’ve been nonstop sneezing. Like I’ve easily sneezed 30+ times today. And I smoked a joint a few hours ago. I just did my syringe irrigation and the bottom left hole started bleeding and now I’m freaking out a little bit. No pain and it’s not an overwhelming amount of blood but definitely a significant amount to where I’m scared I could’ve given myself dry socket. I still need to brush my teeth but I’m currently biting down on some gauze trying to stop the bleeding. If it was dry socket would I be feeling immediate pain? Or could I have just slightly disturbed the blood clot? Do I have to go back to being super duper careful about eating & smoking? Or is this normal and I’m just panicking for no reason
Edit: I applied gauze for about 30 minutes and the bleeding seems to have stopped but I am feeling slight pain. It’s like a super dull throb, possibly just from biting down on the gauze? And my bottom right hole also looks like it has something in it but I can’t tell if it’s food or a little bit of pus. It doesn’t look infected though or hurt at all. Is pus normal on day 8? I’m scared to go in with the syringe again to try and clear it
