Should I disclose my pregnancy during the interview process?

I am currently 26 weeks with my first child and due in about 3 months. I have been trying to leave my current job for about a year now because my boss is an absolute nightmare and there’s no growth opportunities. However, I stopped applying to jobs a couple of months ago as I got closer to my due date.

Earlier in my pregnancy, I applied for an opportunity that ticks all my boxes. Had they begun interviews right away, I don’t think my pregnancy would have been a problem. However, the first step in the selection process was an exam. After moving on from that, the next step was a written assessment. These tasks have taken about two months for completion and deliberation, and I just found out today that I am moving onto the next step in the process, which I assume is an interview. I also assume that there will likely be multiple interviews. With the holidays approaching, it’s looking like January at the earliest will be a likely start date (this is speculation on my part).

I know that I am technically not obligated to disclose my pregnancy during the interview process. I would prefer not to, as this seems like a great opportunity, and I don’t want to jeopardize my chances by disclosing unnecessary information. However, I also don’t want to start this working relationship on the wrong foot if I do get the job. Especially considering I would probably only work there for a month or so before having to go on maternity leave.

Should I disclose my pregnancy? Or should I keep it to myself and hope that I’m able to make up for it if I get the job?
