As a person who’s been ghosted by my ex best friend (a while ago, but i still remember not becoming a stalker for 2 years) as well, the message is clear once you see they’re still hanging out/talking to everyone but you. Maybe at first but… Two years of confusion? yeah, right.

Brutally speaking, people don’t HAVE to give you anything unless there’s legal obligation. MORALLY speaking, he didn’t owe an explanation. What if they argued about the same thing and she never got the point and he felt trapped? What if she was toxic and trying to have a civilized conversation about it is impossible? Again, we’ve no idea what this friendship was like. That’s between them. Would’ve stayed so if she didn’t bring her issues to the internet. You can expect everyone to say “he’s awful!!”. Nor should commenters feel that everyone will agree with their opinion. BUT. He clearly feels that his life is better now, so what about her did he not say because her dad just died and he didn’t wanna be even more rude? Maybe coming off rude was the only way he felt that she would understand to leave him alone. Not to mention that from his text it kinda seems she was trying to use this death to manipulate him into being in her life again. What an awful thing to do when you should be focused on people you love who you can help, and who can help you, rather than trying to go to someone who’s shown no interest. I don’t think this seems stable at all🤷🏼‍♀️
