Therapy is the only workable solution here. She is under the influence of a powerful biological drive both hormonally and psychologically. When I reached the stage where my baby was no longer a baby and I was not going to have another baby, a very primal part of me reacted and I became irrational about it for awhile. It eventually passed for us, but did a lot of damage on the trip….therapy earlier would have been helpful.

ESH (but out of you and your wife who's the worst YTA) - You never decided before and she may have wanted 6 but will to compromise for you and only have 3. You wanted more than one but now sticking at 2. You left it open ended and now are dictating to her no more or we are over. You seem to raise a lot of points that are being ignored and maybe your wife should be more understanding but you got what you wanted and are now saying "accept my ruling or leave".

I'm not saying accept my ruling or leave. I'm saying if she won't do therapy, wants us to stay married but will resent me forever for not having more kids then there aren't any good options. Divorce is the only way if she cannot come to terms with it and will just resent and hate me more as time passes.
