I meant that he has spent over $15000 on his mental health, even though we live in Europe and healthcare is free, he has been to 3 mental health clinics, he had years of therapy and he tried multiple meds. If he was truly mentally ill he would be healed by now. To me it sounds like he is trying to find an excuse for not taking responsibility for his life.
